WikiLaw is a community site for attorneys to publish articles, treatises, documents and other information about the law in furtherance of the free access to law movement.
History: The Free Access to Law Movement
An online encyclopedia open to public contributions and editing was a rather new concept in 2001--the year Wikipedia was founded. That concept has blended its way into society's DNA to a level such that, absent complete destruction to a public internet, it shall never see extinction. However, attempts to grow a virtual law library under the same five pillars principle and free as in freedom philosophy have not excelled the movement to a meaningful level. The WikiLaw, while still carrying a "wiki" tradition, is inventively modifying the previous approach to jump start the free access to law movement.
